PHP N’ Me

This week, we learned more about PHP, with which I had only minimal experience previously.

For this week 7 and the whole week 8, We kept working on PHP. Again, it’s a little bit confusing but slowly I understand the process and how this PHP works through, especially in making a record in the database.

Week 6

For week 6, I learned about “php” but at first, I literary confused because of a lot of coding that I just meet up and it’s not familiar for me. But in the latter part of the class, I slowly got the idea of how PHP work best in web design. But still, I need to familiarize and practice this so I can be used to it.

Week 5

For week 5. I learned a lot for this week especially Bill introduced to us about the page builder and for me, the Elementor is quite interesting. It wasn’t clear enough for me on how to be used it first, but when I try myself using it, I notice it’s had a lot of things you can do to your webpage using the elementor. It’s fun! You can modify your webpage design even though you are using a template.

Midterm and php

The beginning of Week 7 was devoted to a midterm project.

Week 8

These last couple weeks we’ve learned a lot about php and Crud.

PHP more like PANS

PHP more like PANS (Pretty Awesome New Stuff). Is a great to keep a website update without manually changing it every day. Most of PHP is simple and easy to use. Want to know how? Its easy and will make Website pages a breeze

Week 5 & 6 – Fun with page builders and php

Week 5 was about page builders and how to implement them into a web page.

I can’t believe it! Week 6. It’s been great having time in class to catch up on things as well as getting introduced to php.

Backups are Scary

This week was something of a panic for me in preparation for the midterm. I focused on figuring out the process of installing backup WordPress files with the wp-content folder and the SQL file.

Hold Up… Rewind…

I seemed to get ahead of myself in the last blog post. I forgot to add thoughts about our awesome guest speaker! But this week I will, along with some Javascript-y flashbacks being introduced to PHP.

Why Code?

This past week really makes me look back and question whether I am a glutton for punishment.

EShopping and Backing Up

The importance and wonderful worlds of EShopping websites and the knowledge of backing them up. Two very important things I learned through the past weeks were the different types of EShopping websites, from our guest speaker Tirzah Johnson, and the repeating steps of backing up wordpress sites.

Learning NEW things

Last week, for the 3^rd week in this class. I’ve been learning a lot. It was a mixed reaction, either overwhelming of information or feeling confused? LOL. We did some more practicing with the installation of WordPress and installation of new plugins and, we had a guest speaker also last Thursday, her name is Tirzah for the E-commerce information and demo.
