This past week really makes me look back and question whether I am a glutton for punishment.
My story is that I came to Sierra just to get more experience and skills in Graphic Design and by chance, thought, “Why not take this Web Design class?” I took the Intro to Web Design class with Natalie and here I am. I loved it.
I already knew how to read CSS and how to write HTML, but only when it was adding to or reading a code someone else wrote. Learning to write my own code was exciting; a real boost to the good-ole confidence.
This week we examined and experimented with page builders. I will say, the majority of them sucked and were not user-friendly. I felt a lot of frustration trying to create pages to design and nothing was going my way. I really just wanted to open Dreamweaver and code one myself.
However, I saw what you can make with a page builder and there are some amazing ways to build a really cool website… if you have the patience
