The beginning of Week 7 was devoted to a midterm project.
I decided to stick with the Twenty Seventeen theme and customize it by using Elementor and adding additional CSS. My takeaway is that it’s not that easy to figure out what element should be customized in order to get design you want. I guess sometimes it’s easier to code a theme from scratch in order to avoid different types of conflicts. Anyway, working on the midterm was fun – it’s like connecting puzzle pieces.
Another part of the week 7 and the whole week 8 we kept working on php. Well, it definitely reminds me of JavaScript. Even though I find it not that easy to understand, I realize how many cool things you can do with it. For instance, working on CRUD showed how you can create records in a database and easily edit them with php. I think it’s super awesome!
These two weeks were really informative and useful! Can’t wait to learn more!
