Piedmont

Piedmont (Piemonte in Italian) is on the border with both Switzerland and France at the foot of the European Alps. It is home to the highest mountains in the country. Lake Maggiore and the Gran Paradiso National Park are popular tourist spots.

Turin

Turin's landmarks include the mansions of the House of Savoy and the Turin Cathedral (Duomo). Some of its more modern places of interest are the Egyptian Museum, the National Museum of Cinema and the Automobile Museum.
