These couple of weeks we have spent learning about SASS/SCSS, Parallax technique, and a little bit on Bootstrap. All three are very interesting and useful, probably Bootstrap is less useful among them, but still quite cool to learn about.

Getting responsive
Last week we learned about media queries and responsive techniques and I really think it’s important to know and use them. These days we get a lot of traffic from tablets and even phones, mostly from phones, in my opinion. Just a couple of decades ago it was a completely different picture, but now we have to think about mobile users first. And this is cool.

This week we learned about CSS grids and I really believe this is an exciting tool to work with. There are so many possibilities that are being open with grids. You can build a whole grid template and change the positioning of elements on different screen sizes by changing one property and it’s really cool.
