During the first two weeks of this class, I learned more about how HTML works and how it is used to build webpages. Before this class, I knew a little about websites, but I did not really understand what was happening behind the page.
One thing I learned is how different HTML elements help organize a webpage. Things like headings, paragraphs, and links all have their own purpose, and I am starting to understand when to use each one.
I also learned about the <details> element, which I thought was interesting. I already knew that websites could have sections that open and close, but I did not know how they were made. Now I understand how HTML can be used to create something like that.
So far, I feel like I understand HTML better than I did before. I am still getting used to writing the code, but it is starting to make more sense when I see how the code changes what appears on the webpage.
