I’ve always been the type to want to know the ending before anything else; I’ve been that way for books, movies, shows—anything, really. It wasn’t until this last week that I realized I do the same thing with HTML.
When it comes to building websites, there is a huge “Trust the process” phase when your page looks a little awkward. Due to this awkward phase, I find myself jumping in and trying to add things to make my HTML look more appealing on the main page. This obviously is not something you want to do.
HTML is supposed to look a little odd; all of the design comes from the CSS, so besides the importance of the content itself, it’s not the time to be fussing about the details, which for me is very difficult.
After viewing my classmates’ HTML, I did notice that ours looks quite similar; the only main difference was that I added unnecessary content to my HTML.
