This week taught me a lot about the importance of Typography in a website!
Typography is an important part of web design because the way text is presented can affect both the appearance and usability of a website. After reading about typography, I realized that choosing a font is about more than simply finding one that looks good.
Factors such as font size, spacing, alignment, contrast, and the combination of different typefaces can make a website easier or harder to read. I also found it pretty interesting that typography can communicate a certain mood or personality before a person even reads the content.
As for more personal matters, I’ve been doing quite a bit of video editing for a friend of mine’s Youtube channel. It’s good practice for me while also providing a service for my friend, so it’s a win-win for everyone involved
This week I ALSO beat a game called Ghost Trick: Phantom Detective, which was just a phenomenal game beginning to end. Cute game, definitely recommend. I adore the art style the game uses and wanna try to use it as a bit of inspiration for the game I’m working on. Here’s the main character of the game to show you what I mean.
