Over the past couple of weeks, I learned more about how CSS can change the look and feel of a webpage, especially through selectors and typography.
One of the main things I learned recently was how CSS selectors work. At first, it was a little confusing to remember the difference between selecting an element, a class, or an ID, but after practicing with them it started to make more sense. I like that selectors let you control very specific parts of a page without having to change everything.
We also spent time learning about typography, which was probably one of the more interesting parts for me. I learned how to use Google Fonts and how different font choices can completely change the feeling of a website. I also learned about variable fonts, which I had never used before. It was interesting to see how one font file can have different weights and styles.
Another thing we worked with was Font Awesome. I liked learning how easy it is to add icons to a webpage without having to create or download separate images for every icon.
