I learned quite a fair bit this week! Both in CSS and in General. I found out while looking through the HTML Reference on MDN is that HTML elements are organized into different “content categories.”, which I was unaware of until now.
I had always thought of HTML tags as mostly independent elements, but these categories help determine which elements can be placed inside other elements. For example, MDN explains that a <p> element can contain phrasing content, while a <div> can contain flow content. Some elements can even belong to multiple categories depending on how they are used.

As for some other things I’ve learned, I’ve been trying to teach myself (with the help of the internet) game development. I have a little project I’m working on with a friend of mine that’s still in the beginning stages. Just a little detective game. Right now I’m designing characters for the game while I figure out how to code the stuff we need coded, but it’s turning out to be a ton of fun! Hopefully this project turns out well.
I’ll be doing all the art for the game so hopefully that doesn’t burn me out.
