These last couple weeks, we worked on our Midterm project. For this project, we had to create a microsite design, using either Adobe XD or Figma. I initially started on Adobe XD, but then switched to Figma to finish my project.
My choice to switch came after making my initial layout on XD. XD wasn’t too tricky to figure out, but after having worked with Figma quite a bit with my last job, I decided I’d rather work with a program that I was more familiar with.
So I transferred over my project. As I was designing my site, I was realizing how much I don’t necessarily enjoy this part of web design. I really enjoy the code part of these projects. But coming up with a whole site layout and color scheme isn’t my favorite. But, it’s also probably because I’m not used to it.
Practice makes perfect, or something like that ???? I’m sure I’ll get better at this process the more I do it.
