These last couple weeks we began to (re)tackle the concepts of Floats, Flexbox, and Grids. When do you use a Flexbox vs Grid? Or simply just Float?
With various projects and challenges, we reviewed Flexbox. We took sample websites and converted their CSS styles from one concept to the other. If the site had their divs arranged by Floats, we were to change them to Flexbox. And then again on another site, either Flexbox or Grid, depending on which worked better for the particular situation.
These challenges were helpful in getting the foundation for the concepts down.
I’m looking forward to putting this learning into practice for our midterm projects.
