This is such a full week! Finishing responsive design for the Sac Writers group and the Zen Music was quite a challenge and we aren’t even done with the actual design yet! It takes such great amount of patience and re-editing, googling and re-editing.
I appreciate the building blocks we’ve accomplished through the semester, learning to re-arrange the blocks via flex box, grids and then learning about responsive design and media queries. It’s cool to incorporate all the different skill sets into something new and exciting.
Responsive design is so important in today’s web design world. I’m starting to understand how the two traslate and how important it is to design for the phone first. Also how simplicity is really important when designing for mobile first because of the way that it is read on a small screen, still with the interest of catching people’s attention. I like the designs that we’re working on, and they give me a clear idea of the progression a design can take.
