Wow this week has been FULL of information! FTP, Portal Site, Typography …
So much this week. I enjoyed getting the portal page together but probably spent too much time on it. Just when I feel like I am getting the hang of DW, I view page and then get frustrated when it doesn’t do what I want it to do.
On to FTP. I think working with Fetch it so much easier than FileZilla (agreement with Bill on that!). Once I figured that out, with some help, I think I will like that File System a lot.
I am currently taking Typography, so it was fun to briefly touch on that this week as well. Types are so fascinating to me. They really can make or break a design and page layout.
Overall, I think that class is going well. Admittedly so, it is a full workload for me. Lots to keep track of and stay on top of. I think and hope I am getting into a groove though. I am so thankful for a great check in partner. It has helped so much to have that one on one for me. So much information to take in, I need a bigger brain, or a least one that retains information longer! haha
