Web fonts and Typography

When I was learning Adobe’s applications in AAD70, I gradually discovered that I had fallen for fonts.

Typography.  I never knew just how rich and expressive it really is; the weight of your choice of font is beyond significant.

I enjoy discussion/lecture on typography and how to use fonts.  I do know that there are particular considerations when choosing a font for web based on the document structure and consideration for the viewer/reader.  Font combinations, whether contrasting for effect or harmonious for flow, as long as you nail the character and substance of your site’s content keeping the reader in mind, your results should be effective and beautiful.  I could search fonts and explore combinations literally forever; I love them.  Choosing my typeface/fonts for a design or web project is definitely one of my very favorite things to do.

It is difficult for me to comment more truthfully; I unfortunately missed class the night of this lecture and I’m sorry for it.  I am certain there was great information/knowledge introduced during that lecture/lab, and the font test assignment confirms it.  I hope to catch up on this topic so that my understanding about web fonts and utilizing them is enhanced.

(the above site "coming soon"; experiencing issues with the site going live). I've been walking a long, long road...and I have come an astoundingly long way. It would be easy to look around and not believe where I am today.
