The end of the semester is near! It’s only long-term projects for me from here on out, and I hope I can manifest the time management necessary to get everything done on time. Anyways, here’s what we learned these past two weeks: Sass, Parallax, and Bootstrap.

Wk 9-10: CSS Challenges (Not Haunted)
These past few weeks, I completed my Midterm design. It took me a long time but I’m really proud of how it turned out. After that, I learned that writing CSS from scratch to copy a design is really hard. In comparison, responsive design isn’t that bad.
BooooWk 7-8: Responsive Design & Midterm
I can’t believe the semester is already halfway over. It feels like the time flew by, but also, I think the course has been paced really well. I haven’t been expected to understand things without having been given adequate time to learn.

Layouts! I remember these being the most intimidating part of Intro to Web Design for me. I felt like I didn’t actually know what I was doing and was just jury-rigging my code to get it to look the way I wanted. This time around, I’m feeling a lot better.

These last few weeks have been pretty fun. I actually felt like I went into a sort of flow state with coding my Lemmings page and my Portal page: I knew enough HTML and CSS to make things look the way I wanted, and I wasn’t being interrupted by having to troubleshoot or google any significant issues.
