Its the time everyone rushes for. The day everyone excitedly waits for and dreads its arrival at the same time. Its that time of year that makes you look back and think about and reminisce with friends and family of all times. Some people even throw parties in celebration when the day come. The time of year everyone awaits for with rejoice and stress, Finals week.
Now as a college student, the holidays aren’t fully welcomed without the sleepless, hair-pulling, caffeine coma, anxiety riddled, last week of the semester commonly known as, Finals week(s). Where every class is coming to an end and its up to you to do the dance of do dates and finals. Its the time of year that every last little bit will most likely determined your final (passing) grade of the class. But through all the stress and coffee (or tea) its the time of year where you can display all that you have learned and look back to how you have grown.
Databases, WordPress, Themes, Backups, and even Php. Are all the newly acquired skills I have learned this semester from AAD 87 and thus try to successfully use in my final website.
My final website incorporating working with WordPress and the creation of my own personal theme for it. Though the task dose sound easy, I know there will be tangled code for me to unravel. But even though figuring out how to make it work (and asking for help) will be hard work, its the outcome of looking at the final project that makes it worth it. Because I know if I didn’t take this class I would have never known how frustratingly fun content management for the web could be (even if the rush to finish on time kills me, lol).
