I once heard learning described as “you learn in layers.” That definitely applies to learning web design.
I once heard it learning described as “You learn in layers”. I think that definitely applies to learning web design.
The concepts we covered this were not new to me. I had already touched on Figma, grids, and flexbox in both previous courses as well as independent learning.
I find that the subjects are much easier to digest due to this. I am able to add layers and depth to the introductory knowledge I have already obtained. As I continue to do so, the foundation of my knowledge on the subjects feels stronger, and I can extend out from it to add more layers to it without getting overwhelmed and without the feeling that I might not remember anything if I try to learn too many things at once.
I love seeing the results when I am successful in what I am doing. I also feel very accomplished when I can work through a problem and find a solution on my own. I am looking forward to the next week and continueing to add layers to my website design knowledge and skills.
