Over the past two weeks, we’ve been introduced to several new techniques used in modern web design. We covered Sass, Parallax and Bootstrap.
Over the past few years, these techniques have become popular for creating websites. For Sass we created a new file called the SCSS. All coding and changes to the site had to happen there. Parallax is used for scrolling effects on websites. Bootstrap is generally used by professionals, and we need to know about it. Bootstrap is a framework that allows us to use visual and functional components built into the system. This simplifies the work for a web developer to some extent.
These techniques took some time to get the hang of. These techniques must be used carefully and not overused.
