How does HTML work again??
It’s been a while since I last worked with HTML, so I feel a little rusty. I took AAD85 with Natalie Rishe, and I’m so thankful she made us document everything we did in her class. I am able to refer back to a simpler time when I remember what the heck is going on.
As of week two, I am remembering the bare bones basics needed to create a website: header, main, footer, add alternative text to your photos, file management is everything…blah blah blah. Fascinating, yet somewhat boring. I just have to remember that it’s the boring things that make a website functional and usable.
This week, I returned to my future resume and made some small edits to make my website look more like a website (at least, behind the scenes). I added a header and a footer, though I left both of them blank. I put whatever existing code I had into my main. It ran cleanly through the HTML validator.
Since I don’t have much else to share, I thought I’d share my “landing page” from my previous web design course. I’m quite proud of it. You can find it here!
Thanks for reading!
