This week was a doozie! A lot of learning, re-editing and, editing, and editing again – looking at the microsites, re-looking at the microsites! Midterms, half way through this semester! What a whirlwind of a learning curve.
Responsive design is everywhere! It seems like a simple thought but I am starting to recognize that all designers are in actuality designing for many different modes of viewership. It’s not enough to think about a layout on desktop, it must me matched on a tablet, phone and different browser capabilities! WOW! I always knew that design these days meant that you have to have a certain amount of renaissance skill set at your disposal, but it’s becoming more complex, and it’s fun to think about!
I am very excited to see everyone’s layout for this midterm assignment. The amount of revision and editing that comes along with design is tremendous. For me I found a good amount of simplifying and decluttering was the answer.
