CRUD is the theme also theme is the theme this week.
From the last two weeks in class we learned about how to do CRUD and make themes. Now don’t let the name fool you or misread this as themes are CRUD. Because learning about themes and CRUD are the exact opposite of what it sounds like and I can tell you How.
First of all lets get one thing straight CRUD doesn’t mean shit. Wait, I didn’t mean CRUD is worthless, I mean’t it doesn’t mean waste product like we usually think it means. CRUD actually stands for something that you most likely interact with every day when you go onto the computer or internet. CRUD in short is the basic principles on how data bases are made. (its way cooler than it sounds)
Create, Read, Update, and Delete = CRUD
Very simple yet very important when creating a Database.
Now for Themes.
we also learned how to create themes for WordPress. The process is long and kinda confusing. BUT with practice it all starts to make sense. Basically you start with a plain jane starting blank theme and add some php and some of your own pizzazz (then transfer and create some php files) then bam you just created your own theme that you can send to your sever and then activate it to your WordPress site. Once that’s done you can sit back and admire your very own theme (or send it off so others can us it).
