Hi everyone, I’m Laiza. I am from Brasil, and I moved to California in 2015.
I lived in Marin and Sonoma counties before moving to Auburn last year.
Spring 2019 was my first semester at Sierra, and well, actually, my very first semester in college at all. I love design and visual communication, and graphic design as a major seemed like a good choice while I work towards my AA.
I worked as a social media manager for a meditation company in 2017, and that’s when I got more involved with graphic and web design. That’s also when I realized that this field would allow me to work entirely online, meaning I could be anywhere in the world while working. So, I guess that’s the goal… To develop a skill that can be delivered online and not be tied down by geography 😀
