Last week we not only got presented our midterm microsite assignments, but we also tackled full size images and their responsiveness. Seeing websites out there big sized images and/or video, it seems that that is the direction of design people are looking for. Plus, it’s awesome!
I’m tasked (and stoked) to be doing a microsite for an upcoming film. I have a degree in marketing and now doing the whole digital design stuff to heighten my skill set for potential employers, film marketing is exactly what I’m aiming for in a career. The ability to do something in this arena and in a way that is in demand is fun!
The AudioSpace was extremely fun to build! I loved the animation portion of it, but also the simplicity of creating the company name in plain text and just giving it a color makeover. It was the perfect balance. I loved the design of the site and putting it together. In fact, I really like just coding and already designed site like we also did in a previous week with the coffee shop.
Fun week! Diving deep into the responsive design is so, so interesting!
