So this week I learned….
A lot about semantics and making sure everything is linked properly. I spent a lot of time trouble shooting my work because there were one or two things missing. For example, I had an extra /section tag that made ALL of my CSS not show up. Or only part of it. I also had an issue of my styles.css not being linked properly. This took me forever to figure out and really made me angry. I had put all this time and effort into my work and it just wasn’t showing up! How frustrating. But, luckily, my Dad is kind of a computer genius and way nerdier than me and within minutes of us doing a screen-share, he figured out the problem. Actually I saw it before he did! Sometimes you just need a fresh pair of eyes and perspective. Thankfully I’ve learned now what to search for in the future. Also, responsive design is cool!!! It’s really fun and can be challenging. But,wow,how convenient.
