Working Through Difficulties

In these past two weeks, I feel like I hit a bit of a road block. There were two assignments in particular that I struggled with.

The main two assignments that I struggled with were the first parts of the Sacramento writer’s group and Zen Music Festival websites. This was an approach that I wasn’t used to, so it was a learning experience for me.

In this assignment, we had to figure out the CSS for ourselves to match the provided examples. I struggled quite a bit with both of them. I was eventually able to come out with a version of each site that worked for the most part, though certain sections didn’t turn out how they were meant to. Still, it helped me experiment and problem-solve how to create a CSS layout based on an image.

Part 2 of each assignment was much easier, and I was able to figure them out for the most part. I discovered that it’s a lot easier to build the new versions of the website once you have one version created, especially if most of what you’re changing is the positioning and size of some of the elements.

While I did struggle a lot in the past couple of weeks, this was a helpful learning experience, and I will definitely keep it in mind when I develop different versions of my future websites.
