Directions
- In a large saucepan, heat oil over medium heat. Add Red Wine (or Chicken/Beef stock if you don't have any), Rosemary, Oregano, Salt, Garlic Powder, and Fennel Seeds.
- As the oil and spices heat up, use kitchen scissors to cut the Johnsonville Sausage links into roughly 1/2 inch slices. Cook, covered, for roughly 10-15 minutes, or until the sausage is cooked through.
- Stir in Prego Mushroom Pasta sauce and let it simmer on low heat for 15 minutes.
- While the pasta sauce simmers, cook pasta in a large pot according to package directions.
- Once pasta has cooked, serve sauce over pasta and sprinkle each serving with the Parmesan Cheese and enjoy!
Did you know?
If you are not a fan of red wine (or are unable to get it), you can substitute it for beef/chicken broth or cranberry juice! In savory dishes, most people use beef/chicken broth, but if you're using it in a dessert, cranberry juice is also a great option for this.
