Directions

*Note: I typically use a blender for this recipe, but you can choose to just chop up the ingredients instead if you don't have one!

  1. Start by cutting your tomatoes and onion into thick slices and add everything to a blender (this will make it easier for everything to blend together).
  2. Next, add in about 5-6 jalapeno slices (or more if you like it to be spicier) and add the Tajin, Garlic Poweder, Salt, and Pepper on top.
  3. Cut the lemon in half, and squeeze the juice from both halves into the blender and pour in some of the juice from the Mezzetta Jalapenos jar, to taste. Careful with how much you add though if you are sensitive to spice! If you want it to be less spicy, you can add water instead of the jalapeno juice.
  4. Top everything off with a handful of Cilantro, then blend or chop the ingredients together until they're a chunky texture. If you are using a blender, I recommend using the pulse setting so that you can easily control how chunky the salsa is.
  5. Serve with chips or as a topping for tacos/a burrito and enjoy!
