Welcome

My name is Sirena and I've always had a great love of road trips and camping! In 2021, I bought a Chevy G20 van so I could enjoy adventures on the open road. Since getting my van, I've traveled up and down the West Coast, through the desert as well going across a few states to reach Yellowstone National Park.

My Van: The Green Monster

I love anything vintage, but when it comes to a nice travel van it is so important to have reliability as well. As luck would have it, after searching for a while, I found my dream van: a 1995 Chevy G20 van. Formerly a camper van on the inside, the previous owner redesigned the interior with fresh wood panels and a foldable couch bed. This was just the travel van I had been looking for! With under 100,000 miles on it, this van had been meticulously taken care of over the years. I named him "The Green Monster" and I hit the road!

Oh, The Places You Will Go

I live in Northern California so when I plan my van trips I pick locations that are relatively close but still far enough away for a nice road trip. After all, it's all about the journey! Before I take off, I spend some time researching the area I am going to so I have an idea of what I am in for. This is a regular practice for me because it is very important to know about the area you will be visiting so you can follow rules, stay safe and not miss any important sites.

Recording The Journey

During my trips I always break out my camera and take in all the amazing photo opportunities. I also enjoy filming my adventures and posting about it on my YouTube channel: "Sirena in the Moonlight." On this website (which I build myself) you will see some of the photographs I have snapped along the way during my van travels. I hope they inspire you to GO FOR IT!
