Landscapes
Sunset
Landscapes can bring different feelings depending on your mood and what environment they are in. Another important thing to consider is the season, as they can bring a variety of different colors and animals to the seen. The time of day is also important, especially if you have in mind a particular animal you would like to see or photograph. My favorite animal to photograph is the bird. The best time to see birds is in the evening right before sunset, or early in the morning, as birds tend to hide during the greater part of the day because of the heat or cold. It all depends on the time of year we are talking about. The afternoon when this picture was taken, was perfect! Although there were not too many birds to photograph on that particular day, the wind was soft, and I did spot two beavers swimming playfully in the river, along with a few fluffy rabbits.
Lake

The environment where this picture was taken was green, with the soft aromas of tall pine trees just outside my window. This photograph was taken from the top of a mountain in Lake Tahoe. This trail was a challenge, but it led me to the most amazing wildflowers and birds; but perhaps the highlight of the day was the chipmunks, which were too quick for me to take good pictures of them. The hike was mostly secluded and steep but no doubt worth every step.
Wetland

Wetlands are perfect for every type of bird from the smallest, like hummingbirds, to the biggest, such as the Great Blue Heron. This environment is great to go for a walk in and embrace every ounce of beauty it has to offer, or to take pictures. This picture was taken in Colusa County nearby the Colusa National Wildlife Refuge. There are so many wild animals to see here. Aside from all the hundreds of colorful birds, you will find an extensive diversity of mammals including: opossums, raccoons, coyotes, skunks, river otters, beavers, muskrats, and more.
