It's important to know the basics of a guitar and asseccories that are useful.

The Guitar

A very intresting instrument, it has different sizes some which are parlor - small, grand auditorium - middle of the scale, jumbo- big, there are more sizes within the sizes I mentioned. Furthermore, it has different shapes and styles to fit a lot of peoples taste. There is also the sound of the guitar like acoustic which gives a guitar a soft tone but also can be eletric as will, that means it plugs into an amp to give it volume because regular acoustics are not as loud and is for smaller crowds. However, eletric acoustics can play to a larger crowd becuse it is able to plug into an amp.

Accessories

The pick, there are many picks to choose from. For example, there is rough to soft texture and small to big. It also comes in a varitey of colors and there are even special picks made by artists. What is a pick used for, a pick is used for strumming and picking indivisual notes. Some people don't use a pick for certian reasons but usally most people do. A tuner helps tune a guitar and is very helpful for a new person. How does it work just turn the tuner on and pluck a string, the tuner picks up the vibration and shows you if the tune is to high or to low, turn the pegs at the end of the guitar to adjust accordinly to the tuner
