Welcome to my Portfolio! This is where you get to see all the cool things that I've done throughout my life. I've made so many achievements, stories, and accomplishments that it's near-impossible to put them all in this portfolio. So I'll find highlights of all the things I've done. Whether you're a close friend or family member, a prospective client/employer, or just a fan: this is the place to be. Welcome to La'a Land
My Phi-La'a-sophy
"The goal is not to live forever, but to create something that will." - Chuck Palahniuk
Life is short. Our existence on this earth is so small and insignificant compared to the grand scheme of things, that if we don't leave our mark, we'll be forgotten. My dream is to create something that will inspire others. I want to inspire them the same way that others inspired me. As long as one person is happy then that's enough. But I don't need others approval to make myself feel better. I'm awesome just the way I am.
Balancing Work and Life
"Work Hard, Play Hard" - Wiz Khalifa
If any of you have seen Apple TV+'s hit thriller Severance then you know where this is going. You need to have a good work life balance. You can't always work, but you can't always relax either. It's a balancing act, and focusing on one more than the other is detrimental to your wellbeing. I admit I'm a bit of a procrastinator and have trouble concentrating, but when I do it ends up being amazing. Half of the work you'll see is what I call relaxation. My book? A way for me to destress and vent in a creative matter. The food I make? Another way of relaxing while eating delicious meals. But work work sucks, but that's why it's called work and not play.
Finding Inspiration
"You can find inspiration even when you're not looking for it." -Judy Woodruff"
This is the easiest topic to talk about: inspiration. The "I" word. As a Digital Media Major, half of the research I do is search for inspiration. Whether it be finding art on social media and admiring it to watching movies that come out in theaters to reading a good book. You can't force inspiration to happen, because if you do, you know you're working too hard. It's supposed to be a fun, relaxing process. So wherever you go-even if you think you won't find inspiration-you will. Because it's everywhere.
