Backstory
As long as I can remember, art has been my passion. I first started portraiture, in the lowest sense of the word, at age of 2. My brother was asleep on the couch, and I can remember thinking "he's so still, I bet I could draw him now". Of course it came out shoddy, but the point stands - I've been interested in art since I was an infant. I have sensory processing disorder, which means I had heightened senses that became overwhelming in common day situations. Drawing was one of my many coping mechanisms to calm down, and was the most effective next to swimming. Ever since then, I always had a pencil and paper in hand, and sometimes watercolor. It was only til just two years ago, however, that I actually buckled down on myself to become a more serious, professional artist. My hopes are to someday work for disney as a character designer and character animator. Human beings are my favorite drawing subject, so as long as I'm drawing characters I'll be happy. I mostly desire to become an animator for job stability. While I love art, the job field can be scary to think about considering most of an artists career seems to consist of freelance work, which does not bring in a consistent paycheck.

I am a huge cat person, so I love cats. I have two black cats named Novi and Simba, and they are my life. No matter how loudly they yowl, or where they throw up, or when they miss the bowl, while make me love cats any less. Sorry dogs, kittens make my heart melt. Whenever I drawing, I love background noise. I usually run Friends, Call the Midwife, That 70's Show, I Love Lucy, Steven Universe, Avatar the Last Airbender, any Disney movie, and Ghibli movies to fill the silence. Cuddling up in cozy clothes with a good show or movie entertains me while I work, and therefore I can get myself to work on projects longer than I would normally. I love cleanliness, as well as a good atmosphere - such as rain - to do work or play in. Rain calms me and I adore the smell of it in the air.
Dislikes
Art theft has to be on my top hate list. There are many misunderstandings in the community about copyright laws. Kids especially think that posting pretty art on their instagrams is okay, without crediting the artist or including a watermark on the piece. Some even go as far as editing out watermarks because they think is ugly or distracting. But at least they are just ignorant and not malicious. Actual art thefts, or people claiming an art piece of their own is much worse. However the former is more commonly done.
