I felt like I learned a lot this week. We covered floats and flexbox in CSS this week. We didn’t cover much of this when I took the beginning web design class. I feel like we covered so much material in such a short amount of time at the Art Institute. I feel like more of the information is soaking in this time around and I’m starting to understand what the code does when I code it into CSS.
Top Tips
Rachel Andrew’s article Getting Started With CSS Layout was a great overview of CSS. One section was on laying out grids with CSS which was new to me. It sounded like it is not responsive but could be good for visual data layout for specific devices.
