Hi! My name is Laiza, and I've been a self-proclaimed designer for a few years now. I have been focusing on digital design and have honed my skills to communicate visually through graphic and web design. Although I love the world of computers and what it brings to our lives, I know that design is not limited to a computer screen. I believe that design is everywhere, and I am always interested in learning more about what makes for truly good design.

I nurture my design skills by bringing them into my everyday life. My innate desire to organize and always find a "better way" to do things came at a young age, and I approach my work with a creative and open mind. I take pride in organizing and designing my day to day life, from my calendar and routine, to how my living spaces look and feel. I find inspiration everywhere, but nature and its intricacy are probably what fuels my passion for creating beautiful things the most.

Graphic Design

Graphic design is everywhere, from brochures to product packages, to business cards. I focus on creating designs that are effective in successfully communicating with the target audience.

UI Design

I design user interfaces for mobile applications, computer software and websites. When designing user interfaces, I think maximizing usability and the user experience should be the number one priority.

HTML/CSS

I use semantic HTML5 and CSS3 to build websites that are beautiful and accessible. I believe HTML and CSS can be incredible tools on their own, and minimal and straightforward code can make for stunning websites.

CMS Websites

Content Management Systems can be incredible tools to build websites that are dynamic and need continual updating. I build websites using WordPress and Shopify, two of the best and most used CMS's out there.
