Brand/Logo Design
My branding design process is influenced by the clients and the overall message of the business. The process starts with brainstorming and research to gain information regarding the business's purpose, ideas, values, and identity of the business. After getting the voice and tone of the business, I start to do sketches of different logos, based on what the values and purpose of the business are, and go through a trial of critique and feedback to get the right logo for the business. After the logo has been chosen, I go to build the rest of the brand, which involves determining the colors and typography, creating drafts and sketches, and showing them to the client for feedback and opinion.
Packaging Design
My packaging design process is influenced by the client and the brand's guidelines/values. The process starts with research and talking with clients about the type of product they may want for their business and what will interest others within it. During this meeting, we also went over the product ideas and what the main purpose of these products, After this meeting, I went on to do sketches and create prototypes of the packaging designs and go through the clients for feedback. When the clients confirm the prototypes, I go to the computer and design the package design and go to receive the last feedback and opinion about the package.
Publication Design
My publication design process is similar to the brand/logo design and packaging process. It starts with talking over the idea and the type of publication design they may want. We also talk over the purpose of the design and what the message of the design is going to convey to the audience. After this, I developed some sketches and later asked for feedback on a few sketches. After the clients have chosen their favorite/best sketches for the design, I go onto the computer and start developing the design. Here, I may do about 3 different drafts and use different aesthetics and go back for feedback. Here is when the client can again pick the best design, and I continued developing with this one until I finished. Once I finish, I go back for the final feedback, and if confirmed, I send them the design to the client.
