The following projects have been created as a way to explore front-end Web Design and Development.

Main Course Projects

• My First Page

  My First Page project was my first exposure to HTML and inline CSS! Within this project, I was able to fulfill the objectives of file management, coding html, inputting an image, and learning basic syntax and semiotics of Web Design. It was in this assignment that I understood that websites are made of several files and folders

• Squint Studio Build-Along

  The Squint Studio Build-Along Project pulled me into the nuances of Website Building with HTML and CSS. It was here that I learned about a variety of topics integral to creating an accessible and visually pleasing website. These topics include linking site, stylizing assets, image optimization, and developing external style sheets.

• Final Project: Design Portfolio

  As the capstone of the course, the Final Project allowed me to build a website on any topic I wanted. I decided on designing a Portfolio Page that showcased my original design works and advertised my services as a Graphic Designer focusing on Brand Identity. It was here that there was heavy emphasis on Site Engine Optimization and Accessibility on the Web.
