Come see the amazing sites in Hungary
Below are my three favorite spots!
Danube

If you would prefer a more leisurely visit to Hungary, taking a cruise down the Danube might be the perfect fit for you. You can take a night cruise and see the breathtaking colorful city or take a trip during the day to see more sites. On most cruises, there are many diverse activities, such as wine tasting, being entertained by local musicians, and seeing many historical and captivating architecture.
Thermals

There are more than 1500 spas in Hungary, but Budapest, the capital, takes the prize for having the most mesmerizing places to enjoy such luxuries. Not only does the ambiance of these hot spring baths bring peace to people, but also their true healing properties have been validated by scientists.
Castles

Castles are spread all around the country, but a hidden gem that has to be mentioned is the last brick castle left in Europe, still standing and beautifully renovated in the city of Gyula. Not only is the castle a unique experience to walk through, but should one get lucky and experience the summer plays of Hamlet, Romeo, Juliet and etc., they are sure to create a memory for a lifetime. Also, a must-mention is the world-renowned sausage called Gyulai Kolbasz, which is made locally there.
Music in Hungary
Be sure to visit Hungary and find unique places to get a sense of Hungarian music!
Highway
While traveling through Hungary, you will be exposed to scenery and cool rural places. While going from place to place, see if your visit takes you over the musical road on highway 67. It plays a well-known Hungarian folklore song. Although you can rent a car during your stay, another way to soak in the culture would be through public transportation. Unison communicator transportation would include trains and buses because they are well-maintained, safe, and affordable. These routes are well connected to other European countries.
Classical
Classical music is a prevalent part of Hungarian culture. The world-famous Kodaly Zoltan's solfege method originated from Hungary and is part of the New York Juilliard program. Also, List Ference's, Bartok Bela, and other musicians' homes have been preserved and can be toured. By visiting these historical sites, one can soak in the importance Hungarians place on enjoying music. Szeged and Debrecen are where you can find concerts throughout the year, and of course, the opportunities are endless throughout the summer around Lake Balaton.
Folklore
Folklore dancing is a massive part of growing up Hungarian and is passed on from generation to generation. The dancing style and detailed clothing are unique and vary from region to region. Almost all folklore outfits are hand decorated by a thread and mostly feature colorful flowers with patterns and colors that represent their hometown. As a part of the outfit, the women's clothing is accessorized with a beaded wreath crown called a parta. One can visit many shows to experience this unique style of dancing. Throughout the summer, there are festivals where the audience is encouraged to learn, participate, and let the joy seep into their hearts.
Check out the FOOD!
While traveling and Hungary, there are many fancy restaurants to try out, but if you're a traveler on a budget, restaurants usually have daily lunch specials that you can ask for to save every penny while still getting a delicious meal.
Gulyas
Goulash is one of the most famous Hungarian dishes around. Goulash is a warm, strong stew filled with beef, paprika, onions, and potatoes. This meal is usually a hit with tourists who have a variety of taste preferences.
Halaszle
But if you feel more adventurous, I suggest trying out Halaszle, which is a great fish stew. It is most commonly cooked outside and enjoyed on a summer evening.
Hortobagyi Palcsinta
This is a meat-filled crepe. This is the dessert that is for the meat lovers that do not really have a sweet tooth. Once you try this dish you will defiantly be impressed with Hungarian creativity for looking at a crepe as an excuse to eat more meat.
Meggy Leves
If you are craving a dessert the first food item that comes to mind may not be a soup but soon after trying meggy leves you may change your mind. This is a sour cherry soup that is actually quite sweet! It is usually served with whipped cream!
Don't forget to treat yourself and have any and all pastries, as they are phenomenal!
