V.A.T.S and G.E.C.K

All in all, life in the vault is extremely safe; however, life in the wasteland will be very unforgiving. That's why we at Vault-Tec present to you the V.A.T.S. and G.E.C.K. systems.

The Vault-Tec Assisted Targeting System/V.A.T.S

The Vault-Tec Assisted Targeting System, or V.A.T.S. for short, is a new and very effective targeting system produced by Vault-Tec for the purpose of assessing an unknown threat, finding the weakest point, and dealing critical damage to said reaction. This system is standard on all Pipboy computer systems. Keep in mind that the V.A.T.S. system only helps to point out weak regions; it will still be your job to hit these regions. However, this system is capable of being incorporated into any automatic defense systems.

The Garden of Eden Creation Kit/G.E.C.K

The Garden of Eden Creation Kit, or G.E.C.K. for short, is how you will be able to create and maintain a new settlement in the wasteland. It includes the latest in teraforming technology and includes several blueprints, some of which include plans for a simple fusion generator. Other items included in this kit include seeds and soil. All of these items are contained inside a slim silver briefcase.
