The following projects have been created as a way to explore and learn about front-end Web design and development.

Main Course Projects

• My First Page

  For this project we designed an index.html page. This page included content that talked a bit about the class like our hobbies, what we are passionate about, what we are excited to learn about in this course etc. We introduced for the first time in this course on coding and proper file management along with minor CSS details and also how to properly document our work throughout the process.

• Squint Studio Build-Along

  For this project, we are learning how to build a full website for a "client" that has multiple pages each with different content. We learned more coding techniques on this project but what we really are being taught is how to properly apply CSS to a site that makes your site stands out and boosts SEO. We got more experience with proper file management during this project and are learning what certain Web Design attributes help imporve your sites functionality.

• Resume/Portfolio Final Site

  This project was the final project for this class. We were asked to apply all the skills that we have learned from previous projects and tutorials and apply them to a final site with a concept of our choosing. I chose to do a double page webiste that consists of my Resume and a small Portfolio page that showecases some past projects of mine that I enjoyed. doing.
