My Work Experience:
Mcdonalds
This was my first job and I learned a lot from it. I believe that It started the foundation for the type of work ethic that I have. I worked here from August 2018-October 2019.
- Duties Include:
Cinemark Theatres: Blue Oaks Century 16
This is my current job and I have been with the company for about 2 years but I moved up fairly quickly. Within the first 2 months of working for Cinemark I was trained in every department which includes the Box Office, the Concessions, Usher, and Theater Checker. I was awarded Employee of the Month after only working there for 4 months and I was then promoted to Assitant Manager in April 2021.
- Duties Include:
Recently, I just helped open up the new Cinemark at the Westfield Galleria. I learned a lot on what it takes to open a building and it really was an interesting and exciting experience.
Volunteer Work:
- Referee for Recreational Basketball
- Tom Abe Little League Field Snackbar
- Link Leader for Wheatland Union Highschool
During my junior year basketball season of highschool, a few of my teammates and I volunteered to do the scoring and referee for the Youth Recreational Basketball teams
When I was younger I would help out in the snack bar at my towns local Little League field. I would take orders and make food and occasionally I would operate the score board during the games.
For my senior year of highschool, a group of the students from the senior class, including me, volunteered to mentor the incoming freshman and help them transition smoothly and adjust to their first year of highschool. A very fun experience.
