What started out as a passion for speed, grew into one of the best known companies in the V-twin High Performance World. We, the founders of Big Twin City, had to build our own parts to make the motor cycles faster. Now our company is one of the most prestigious engine works facilities on the West Coast.

We started our company, in the garage of one of our founders' homes, in the year 2000. After gaining a reputation of a company that produces high horsepower, and high torque motors, the company moved from Ventura CA, to Granite Bay CA, in 2010. Our mission statement has always been, "The Highest Horsepower for the Most Affordable Cost".

Philosophy

The philosophy of Big Twin City is to offer big bore, and large stroke motors, for Harley-Davidson motor cycles. We have found, we can increase horsepower and torque, of your stock motor, by up to 20 percent over stock specifications.

Staff

All of our mechanics have an Associate's of Applied Science (AAS), degree in Motorcycle Service Technology. Our mechanics are also fully trained in the latest motor building, and dynamometer techniques. Our machinists are trained on the most up-to-date machining procedures, using Haas automatated Computer Numerical Control (CNC) machine tools.

We have 6 full time mechanics, and 7 full time machinists on our staff. Our goal is to ensure a quick turn around of your Big Twin City motor. Our Quality Control Department is second to none. Quality is our number one goal.

Pricing & Packages

Big Twin City motors are manufactured from 100 percent new Original Equipment Manufactured (OEM) components. All OEM components, are built to the latest factory specifications, and retain the original motorcycle's Vehicle Identification Number (VIN).

The crankcase is pre-assembled; including flywheels, connecting rods, bearings, seals, cylinders, pistons, rings, heads, valves, valve springs, tappets and pushrod covers. We also provide a lefty crankcase bearing, cam bearings, and performance tappets to handle higher stress loads, produced by the performance upgrades.

The price of the Big Twin City motor assembly depends upon individual engine specifications, but starts at just $3,750.(pricing includes shipping). Some components such as cam choice and other accessories needed to finish the engine, are also an additional cost. MSRP: $3,750.00 - $4,900.00
