About Me and My Guitar Lessons

Thank you for your interest in my guitar lessons. I'm a guitar instructor serving in the Greater Sacramento metropolitan area of California. I enjoy teaching all kinds of guitar styles from folk to classical and electric to heavy metal, including many more. My acoustic guitar of choice is the classical guitar though (nylong strings). I love playing Latin and Spanish guitar styles too, such as samba, bossa nova, and Spanish flamenco. I love playing blues guitar as well, as there is so much feeling behind it. I'm also just as enthusiastic about music theory, and it is an integral component of my music lessons. If you have any questions about music theory, feel free to ask me because I love talking about it.

I have three time-blocks for lessons: 30 minutes, 45 minutes, and an hour; respectively, my base rates for these sessions are $29, $39, and $49. However, these rates are discounted when purchased as prepaid monthly plans: half-hour lessons are $99 per month; 45-minute lessons are $129 per month; and 60-minute lessons are $149 per month. Additionally, the Doubles Plan is discounted ~50% off for a second student for $149 total per month to include both students, which gives each student a half-hour of independent instruction time per week.

I request payment on the first-lesson day of the month. I also request that the party to consider what days the student will be available for lessons during that month, since I also take prorated payments to work around students' schedules. All months cover four weeks, and all plans and rates are subject to change.
