Combat Phase

Opener

Sinister Strike x2, then Slice and Dice, then Blade Flurry, then Killing Spree

This is the standart opener that will provide the maximum DPS in a single target.
You'll use it in 90% of fights.

Opener is the first combination of attacks and skills that you use in the fight. Combat Rogue opens with two Sinister Strikes to accumulate 2-4 CP which will be used to activate Slice and Dice. It'll consume exactly 100 energy, however meanwhile you'll regenerate 20-40 energy to use your Blade Flurry and go into Killing Spree.

Why do you want to open like this? Killing Spree is your main source of DPS in the burst phase, so you want to use it ASAP, however, you don't want to use it with 100 energy, because it is a waste of your prescious time, which, as you know, is money, or in our case - damage. You want to waste your energy first and only then use your Killing Spree because your energy regenerates while you jump and you also deal auto attacks, which is the reason to use SnD and BF before your KS. They will increase your attack speed by 60% which is two times more than Bloodlust or Heroism gives.

After finishing your opener, waste the energy you just regenerated with Sinister Strikes and Rupture or Eviscerate, then use your Tricks of the Trade if you already have 2T10 bonus set to get even more energy, waste it too and only then use your Adrenalin Rush and start the main rotation.

Rotation

Combat Rogue's rotation is simple: you stack CP's with Sinister Strikes and use them to cast your finishers which are prioritized in this order:

  1. Slice and Dice. This is your main buff that gives you 40% haste. Since auto attacks is your main source of damage and they severly benefit from haste, you must maintain 100% SnD uptime during the whole fight.
  2. Rupture. If you decided to play with Rupture it'll be your second finisher, try to maintain 100% Rupture uptime on boss but not to the detriment of SnD.
  3. Eviscerate. Is there more than 5 seconds left of your SnD? Is there Rupture on enemy or you don't care about Rupture at all? If your answer is "YES" to both of these questions - it's time to use Eviscerate!

And do not forget to use your burst abilities like BF, KS, and AR whenever you can and need. I mean don't generally use your AR with 100 energy or if you won't be able to constantly hit the boss for 15-20 seconds. Don't waste your KS without BF on multiple targets and don't ever jump in KS into Halion's Twilight Cutter, it'll kill you.
