About Us

2 White cat Paws

Here at Feline Friends we dedicate our time to making sure that the animals in our area are put into good homes. As a society that deals with overpopulation when it comes to animals, it is important that we adopt animals rather than turn to local breeders.

Cats are good for a number of things, they are theraputic, independant, and extremely loving and affectionate towards their owners. They make good companions for anyone in search of a four legged friend.

Its important that we pay attention to thiss issue, and take action. Here at Feline Friends we offer a large amount of resources in order to help you rescue your new cat.

Whats A Feline?

In case you have been living under a rock, you may know about cats. They are extremely affectionate animals that are very independant and easy to take care of

Cats are great family animals. Adopting a new kitty will definitely spice up your home life and provide a good companion for you and your family. They are much easier to take care of than dogs and are not as loud. Cats are a great alternative for those living in an apartment and cant have a dog.

Why Should I Adopt?

Adopting is very important because it allows animals that do not have homes to find them. Most of the time when looking into getting a new animal people turn to breeders in order to get the pet they desire.

Animals that may have been adopted before and turned away for various reasons end up at shelters. These animals are frequently forgotten about and forced to live in a cage. By adopting an animal rather than going to a breeder, you are giving sanction to an animal that truely needs your love and not contributing to the overpopulation issue that breeders are responsible for.

Kora

Kora, striped brown cat.

Kora is my newest adoption, she was abandoned in a house in Sacramento. I adopted her and nursed her back to health. Now that she is nearly 5 months old, she is doing much better and is living the life of a happy cat.

Rita

Rita was adopted around 7 years ago. She was a ferrell cat, and was very sick when we rescued her. She had numerous stomach infections. With special diets and lots of medicine, we were able to nurse her back to health. She now rules the house, and demands lots of love and attention.

Dorito

Dorito was rescued from a truck stop. My dad found a kitten wandering around and decided to take it home. Luckily he was healthy, and able to be taken care of. He now is 4 years old.

Roxy

Roxy was adopted 11 years ago after she had a very tragic accident. She was hit by a car as a kitten and had to have her tail amputated. Although she looks a little different from most cats, she still enjoys her time outside, sniffing flowers, and bird watching. She loves potato chips, and is grateful for her new family.
