Founder
Hey Everyone, my name is Crista, creator and founder of The Crepe Escape Food Truck! When I was a Freshman in high school, I was offered a cashier position at a candy shop. Not only did we sell candy , we also whipped up delicious dessert crepes. They were filled with Nutella, ice cream, fruits, whipped cream, and any syrup you could think of. Though the business did close down a few years later, I still remembered the recipes and experimented as much as I could.
One day as I was recalling my childhood days of hearing loud cheerful music of an ice cream truck getting closer and closer to my home, I thought to myself "How great would it be to show off my favorite dessert to anyone and everyone who wanted to try?" Well, let's just say it was a great idea because here I am making people happy and full of sweets!
Food Truck
The concept of my food truck is to be compared to the ideals of an ice cream truck—a musical truck roaming around serving cold ice cream to children in the heat of summer all over different neighborhoods. Today, most food trucks search for one location and that's that, but I don't think this is the way to go about it. A food truck has wheels for a reason and it's purpose is to move and wander the streets freely.
The Crepe Escape Food Truck is able to drive around to any and every neighborhood and sell local ice cream and popsicles, as well as our fresh and made-to-order dessert crepes.
Dessert crepes are our delicious specialty!
