Hello once again to a journal entry! Today on the news, AAD 86’s students have been busy doing their mid-terms while balancing other classes and learning new cool concepts on the web and design. During these past weeks, we have mainly been focusing on our midterm microsite designs. To be honest, I have really been enjoying doing these type of prototype designs. Being able to create and have your ideas come across freely has been enjoyable especially with a subject that I like. Being able to choose our challenge has been great, I have recently been getting into fashion so the subject was perfect to practice creating designs with. Adobe XD has been pretty easy to use, but I should take some time to explore what else I can do with the program outside of its basic functions. Another program I want to try out is Figma, a couple people in our class use it but I have never tried it. If we have another chance to create prototypes I will most likely try to use Figma to try it out. Other than that we have been practicing out layout CSS skills and have started to learn a new concept on Responsive Design. Being able to learn about this part of web design is fantastic. We have never gone over this type of subject before, so learning about it has been interesting. It will be great in implementing them into our designs. Overall it has been a good two weeks of learning new parts of web design while working on our midterms. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
