I cannot believe that one month has already passed for school already. One month in, and I feel like I have already done so much. I am pretty sure that online classes make it seem like I have more work to do in general. The whole process of going through online classes is still a weird feeling even after a month. I think I will adjust overtime. It is a weird feeling of going through lectures whenever you want, having to learn what is taught yourself, and then doing the assignments just seems so different since I have been attending classes physically for the past 20+ years.

Throughout this month, I have learned many concepts and subjects throughout my classes. The classes are starting to go towards the actual types of assignments of the class and transitioning from the starting period to the actual learning period. The different types of subjects I have learned through these past 2 weeks is pretty amazing if I have to be honest. For my Graphic Design class, we have learned the basics about the elements and principles of design, and we are already turning in a huge point project on one of those elements. In my Computer Science class I am learning how to use and code the language Java with the program JGrasp. It is pretty interesting so far, but this starting phase of actually having to create our own code ourselves and learning how these structures work is pretty struggling.

Of course, I cannot leave out my Web Design class. These past two weeks have been very helpful in reviewing and getting back used to utilizing CSS. The CSS Review the assignment especially stood out for me since it made us learn new concepts. What we were supposed to do for the assignment was explain what Inheritance, Cascade, and Specificity are in CSS. I do not think I have ever gone over these terms in any of my past classes, so they were all new words to me. However, having to go through the assignment, it has helped me in learning the more technical aspect of CSS, and how the coding works. I have been just using CSS and pretty much knowing how to use, but never knew how it worked in that type of way. Another subject we learned was Reset vs Normalize CSS scripts. For now I feel comfortable with utilizing the Normalize script. However, in the future where I feel more comfortable utilizing CSS, I would definitely want to feel comfortable utilizing both, but especially the Reset script. I have definitely overall gained plenty of knowledge these past two weeks, and I know for sure we are at that phase where everything will start to pick up fast.

Hello!
