It\u2019s been a month since it started already\u2026<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<!--more-->\n\n\n\n<p><strong>This week it felt like there was a lot to do. Probably because I spent a ton of time styling the portal page and the markup we completed last week. I had a lot of fun with it though! I learned a bit about positioning in CSS last semester but hadn\u2019t had a chance to put it in practice, so it was cool to try it out on those pages. I actually can\u2019t believe it took me so long to learn about how much easier it can be to position elements by using position absolute and relative. It was <em>almost<\/em> as revolutionary as when I learned that I could use flexbox instead of floats.\u00a0<\/strong><br><strong>It was also good to review some typography fundamentals and remember how big its role is in web design.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Does everybody feel like this semester is moving along pretty fast?
