I haven’t done any web design since Natalie’s intro to web design class a few years back and I’m surprising myself at how much I remembered. I got lucky that I also found my old binder with all of my notes from her class, as I knew I would need it! So far I am already learning new things and finding it relieving that there are so many websites out there that are dedicated to helping web designers, such as MDN and HTML & the Internetingishard.com tutorials on HTML and CSS. I am also finding Bill’s suggestion to use Notion as an organization tool helpful as it gives me a good place to bookmark all these helpful sites. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
I have to admit I find taking this class at home online a bit scary and didn’t know if I could do it but I believe that I can. I love that my fellow peers in the class are helping each other out already and critiquing the code. That is very helpful and gives us a chance for trial and error. That’s the bet way to learn in my opinion. So far on the resume assignment I learned that you should use section instead of article for the different blocks on content on the page. I also was able to fix the problem I was having with my image link thanks to another student. I am excited to learn more and get better at this!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
